WHO WE ARE

We're a group of professionals from all industries sharing a common interest and passion for promoting workplace safety and health.



As a member-run organization, we work hand in hand to create opportunities to network, share best practices, and stay up to date with the ever-changing regulatory environment.

  • 1997 — NRASP Established

    March 25, 1997 — Annual Golf Tournament introduced to raise scholarship funds.

  • 2000s — Growing Impact

    Community Safety Scholarships and Annual Safety Conferences launched.

  • 2010s — Expanding Education

    Monthly Safety Sessions offered to provide regular professional development.

  • 2019 — Rebrand for NRASP

    The red arrow symbolizes the Northern Red River Valley and the blue arrow Western Minnesota — representing the area NRASP serves.

  • 2022 — CEUs Through MCOHS

    CEUs offered through Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety and the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.

  • 2025 — CEUs Through IACET

    CEUs now offered for select sessions through IACET and provided by OECS.
